I tin can get to step upwardly to entering a Pin on my keyboard. I do and so, but cypher happens. Windows and so times out wanting to try and connect it over again.

You won't be able to run across the characters on the screen as you lot type the lawmaking, only Windows volition recognize them. If the keyboard doesn't pair or if you lot remember you might have typed the code incorrectly, select Cancel and effort again.
Capslock/Num is working (and so lighting up when pressed one time)? If no the keyboard is non working at all.
Check if the keyboard works with another pc peradventure but to dominion this one out.
Plow on then off aeroplane mode and attempt over again. Make sure in that location is for the moment no other bluetooth device interfering.
Disable antivirus of form.

I have tried to pair again, it succeeds to some degree. It paired offset fourth dimension, but no buttons would piece of work. I tried it a 2d time and I received a message advising to try pairing once again.

Thats something compared to before huh?
I suggest trying on a diffrent pc but to check if the problem is with the pc and if doesn't work either gettin a new keyboard and sending this one back.

I accept tried my keyboard on my Surface Pro and it pairs/works fine. Admitting on my desktop, information technology advises me to attempt connecting my device again.

Would this mean my keyboard is not compatible with my ACER Aspire S24 desktop reckoner?

I simply bought this aforementioned keyboard and had the same trouble. I thought it might be dues to the fact that I'yard at present using information technology with an older desktop PC with a bluetooth dongle, however, after a few tries, it did hook up. Then later a work session, it dropped out and I could not re-pair information technology. The keyboard would show up on the bluetooth devices list, and I even got the bulletin the it was set up -- but no keyboard part.
As a hail mary, I tried pairing my Surface mouse with to the PC to encounter if the bluetooth dongle was at fault, and information technology worked without a hitch. Then I tried pairing the keyboard again -- it hooked right up. I turned the mouse off and have been using the keyboard all twenty-four hours. Seems to work fine now.
